Banksy Confirms He Made Tree Mural in North London

A mural that sprang up overnight on a residential building in North London is indeed a work by Banksy, who posted images confirming that he was its author via his Instagram.

The mural features a life-size image of a woman with a pressure washer. She is shown spraying bright green paint that forms a pattern that resembles leaves that would appear on a real tree before the wall.

Banksy uploaded photos of the mural to his popular Instagram page (12.3 million followers) on March 18.

Art exhibit to feature work from art education majors | News

WAYNE — “Crowded Space,” featuring artwork by eight Wayne State College seniors, opens Wednesday, March 27, with a reception set for 4:30 pm in the Nordstrand Visual Arts Gallery, located on the main level of Conn Library. The exhibit is free and open to the public through Friday, April 19.

Artists include arts education majors Gracie Beddow of Atkinson, Emilia Goetsch of Pierce, Miranda Roth of Lincoln and Zaynab Kouatli of Stanton; studio arts majors Autumn Nies of Bloomfield, Rachel Nissen of Wisner and Robert Van Heufeln of Grand Island; and graphic design/studio arts major Gabriel Perez of Pender.
